Wow, I'm impressed.

We have a 2008 Toyota 4Runner that we bought (used) in 2011. At the time (I think) the dealer detailed the engine. We bought a truck with about 30,000 km, now (end of 2020) it has 105,000 km. During that time I never washed the engine. So I thought I'd give this thing a try. You can see how well he did in the before and after photos. At the start of this project the motor felt warm to the touch (you'll have to wait for it to cool down) but I wanted it to be finished. I sprayed the cleaner (DO NOT pre-flush the engine) to make sure it covered the entire engine compartment. I waited 1 minute, used a garden hose with a spray gun and flushed the engine very thoroughly. I then used my 20 gallon air compressor and used an air nozzle to blow off any standing water. The "after" photo was taken just after the engine was blown away by standing water. It took me maybe 10 minutes from start to finish? Then I started the truck and drove it around the neighborhood warming up the engine and further drying the engine compartment. I didn't clean anything, just sprayed it on the engine and flushed it out with a garden hose. Some suggestions: 1) wait for the engine to cool (leave overnight). 2) Put a plastic bag over the generator to protect it from water. 3) I would clean the engine and then wash the whole car, a lot of dirty water gets on the windshield and front fenders. four). I suggest spraying your driveway to make sure the dirty water doesn't stain the asphalt or concrete, or better yet, do it outside. Overall I am impressed with this vacuum cleaner, very easy and quick.
