This set only lasted a week and a half in total for my 11 year old son. The bento box was the first. After a few days part of the clip fell off and we couldn't put it back on. Not to mention that it was quite difficult for the young man to just take it off. It also leaked (rice and beans) and made a mess in the lunch box. Then the lunch box handle broke. We had our previous lunch box for 2 school years (only 3 years - it was little used in the covid virtual school) and we could have used it longer if I hadn't donated it as I thought we had things better with our lunch box did. We've never tried a soup stand and probably don't intend to. Overall, I don't recommend this set, especially if you intend to use it frequently or for a younger person.
