When tightening screws, MAKE SURE you tighten them STRONG or this will happen. watch the video After assembling and disassembling it a few times to get the height I needed, I concluded that paying a little over $100 for the handle would be worth it. --------- Haven't received my monitor yet, but so far it's great. I'm guessing it's heavy and can hold a monitor stand without tipping over (this thing should weigh 70 pounds and have heavy hardware). It's NOT MDF, which I hate. Instead, it is made from industrially produced pressed cardboard. I'm not sure of the exact name, but it's better than MDF. Also, the right edges (see second picture) have been covered with shipping plastic to prevent the edges from being crumpled during shipping (you end up throwing them away). The only annoying thing is that if you want to change the height, you have to loosen the middle screws (see third picture). That means you have to remove material from above. But at any other table, you would pay for that convenience. Therefore, decide whether you need to constantly raise and lower the table. If the answer is yes, then you can spend an extra $150 on a turntable. Since I don't have to constantly change the height, I'm very satisfied.
