Review on Meshroom by Ans Brownlee

Very easy to use and has a huge amount of different mesh options available (no other software I have used can offer this). Easy to add additional images once you have a basic understanding. The only thing that would be useful would be some way of automatically naming/tagging the model when you are creating it. That's not too much of an issue though as you would have to name it anyway when uploading it. We have been able to create many models for our product design department to test before finalising them. This feature alone saves us time. - Very good performance for large datasets.- Easy to use interface with many options available- Good documentation (also in French). I would like to have some more advanced tools such as automatic detection of features or even better mesh generation capabilities. We are using it mainly as an inspection tool but we also can do full reconstruction from point clouds acquired by our laser scanner. It has been really useful because you don't need any expensive software nor specific hardware to get started.
