Well that doesn't work for my purposes. I read somewhere that charcoal bags help reduce dust. At this time of year (northeast winter) my house is full of dust particles flying through the air. In fact, I see that they are not recommended for dust. So you're still swimming and I'm still sneezing. But I put one in the basement next to the litter box and it seems to help reduce the odor. So not a complete loss.
