They work great right out of the box but no one knows how long they will continue to work and that's more up to me and my random setup than anything others. I bought these on a whim at the very end of a golf cart retrofit project where we converted the cart to 48v and solid state controls and a few other things. I lifted the golf cart and just strapped these things to a dirty frame. , quite a sloppy job and have no idea if they can withstand mud and splashes and such, a big ugly tangle of extra wire tied down the front. If they die early I will not blame the product. So far they work well and great and the remote control is simple and easy to use. It remembers its previous settings even if it is completely switched off and unplugged. So that's good as they don't get a constant 12v from our car (ours are 48v at 12v). the converter turns off when not in use). We wired some kind of green theme to our wagon and that's how it 'remembers' that it was set to green between uses, which I'm happy about. Seems to draw about 4 watts so they're pretty efficient but still pretty bright. I'll try to post photos when we've finished the rest of the project. Lots of length and wires for a project like our golf cart. These are two 3 foot pieces and two 2 foot pieces, not enough for a complete car. Order a larger size if doing something big, but this size is perfect for a dolly or 4 wheeler.
