Review on πŸ§‚ Tesedao Electric Gravity Salt and Pepper Grinder Set: Adjustable Coarseness, One-handed Operation for Pepper, Himalayan Salt, and Spices by Ken Coste

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Ooooh how I wanted to love these coffee grinders!

This rating is based on 10 months of regular use (purchased Christmas 2019). other brand). I love the ease of using electric coffee grinders in the kitchen, especially when doing tasks like marinating meat when I just have a clean hand to pick up salt or pepper. It's amazing how much easier they make cooking in general. I particularly liked the light function in this set. It's admittedly a no-brainer, but there have been many times I've appreciated it, such as when seasoning a salad in low light. The noise level is moderate and the capacity is excellent. However, I cannot recommend these grinders for the following reasons: Batteries discharge too quickly. I use about 2.5 months before having to replace 6 AAA batteries. . . everyone! Dear habit! - Pepper is picky. It grinds fine and stops producing ground pepper without shaking. I understand that peppercorns can get stuck, but this problem almost always occurs. It is a big annoyance to shake the "automatic" pepper grinder to take out the pepper. - I had to clean the salt from the battery compartment in the salt mill several times. Peppers in a peppermill aren't a problem, but salt is a relatively good conductor of electricity on muggy days. Even though we don't use the salt grinder as often as the pepper grinder, their batteries are almost always the first to die due to this problem. Oh but how I love them when they really work! Looking for another brand to try in 2021!
