My daughter gave it to me about a year ago and I liked it so much I gave it to my bridge girls. You love them too! Great one-hand grinder.

These things break all the time. I'm not on my second and the shaker just stopped working. It's a great idea and they're really handy when they work, but unfortunately there are too many problems with them. After the 2nd exchange my advice is to stay away from this model and buy something else.

I avoided them as every pair I've seen in stores is $100. That's the deal and they work great. They have dials on top for adjusting the grind size, which work well, but the flip-to-on feature is great for not having to use a button. Sometimes I have to shake them once to get them more into the grinder, but that's the only problem.

I received my package as expected; However, I am disappointed as only one of the grinders works. Update: I put in new batteries yesterday afternoon when I received the package. Today one mill worked and the other didn't. Even though the batteries were brand new and had only been in the grinder for 24 hours, I replaced them and the grinder worked. These grinders are easy to use and operate. The grinder clogs easily with large salt crystals and standard sized peppers. Often you can't clean it up to make it work again. My first pepper grinder clogged on the first day of work and was promptly replaced by the seller. The replacement worked for about 30 days and clogged again, and a few days later the salt shaker stopped working. If the product lasted longer I would give it 5 stars. I was about to write a bad review after a unit failed so quickly but the seller offered a 100% satisfaction guarantee in the product description so I contacted Revain customer service and they offered a replacement (or refund). Revain made it so painless that I no longer fuss over product failures and admit that sometimes a bad block comes out. Hopefully another grinder/replacement grinder will last longer. My only concern is how long the AAA batteries will last. I use a shaker every day when preparing food. I use Himalayan salt in one and black peppercorns in the other. The grind is excellent.
