To start out if I could I would give this pack a 0 without a doubt!I bought this pack for a trip to the White Mountains with my friends to hold my belongings (clothes, tent, food, ect). I expected it to stay intact very well and give me comfort throughout the trip which I soon found out to be wrong.When backpacking especially somewhere like the White Mountains, a good reliable backpack is very important as it can make or break your whole trip. The advertisement of this pack said that it was well-made and great for backpacking. This turned out to be completely wrong as it couldn’t even hold 30 pounds of gear without breaking.The first bad thing about this pack was the horrible stitching that ripped multiple times leaving several holes in the pack. Although you can fix this it is important to have a bag that keeps everything inside dry which was not the case for me. The first day I was hiking, about 1.5 miles into the trail the buckle on the left side along with stitching around it snapped leaving me having to use what I had with me to fix it. (This exact thing happened to the other side of the pack later on)Another complaint I had was that the buckles did a very poor job with tightening up. I would tighten it and then 10 minutes later it would loosen up again. With that said, one time while trying to tighten the left hip strap, the buckle completely fell off. I had to grab rope and cut a hole into it to fix the problem. Hikers and backpackers can all agree with this that comfort is very important which was not there in this bag. After these breaks (they happened over and over again throughout the trip), all the weight was put directly on my shoulders leaving me uncomfortable for 28 miles of rigorous hiking!Overall, this could of been a very dangerous trip if I was not able to fix it as I was up on a mountain range miles away from other stores.
