13.56Mhz and Mac users beware

13.56Mhz Like many of you I bought this to duplicate a smart key fob for my apartment which cost me $75 to duplicate would have. After 3.5 hours of trying to get the software to work (read the Mac section below) I finally got the software to work and tried to decrypt but it failed every time. I followed the instructions exactly, changed the order, adjusted the settings, and he just couldn't decipher it. To be honest the site doesn't say it works 100% of the time but since the software that comes with the tool is from 2019 I know they don't update their software regularly and the user interface is terrible and confusing. Sense. Mac users The 13.56MHz decryption software is not available for Mac, this is just an exe file for PC. After I ran Parallel and upgraded my Windows OS to Windows 10 64-bit, the device kept throwing USB driver errors. Except for this tool, all other USB devices worked perfectly. To run it I had to extract the file with my Mac OS, then transfer it to Windows and boot. When I did this, the device was unreadable unless I ran a scan first, which the instructions don't say. I finally got it to the point where it would start decrypting, but each attempt failed after about 2 minutes. This software was just too fragile to work. Do yourself a favor, if you're on a Mac or transcribing 13.56MHz, don't buy this. Simply pay to have your key reproduced by a professional. If you're going to use 125kHz, just buy a $30 competitor of this product.
