Review on 🔥 IKTCH 30 Inch Under Cabinet Range Hood: Powerful 900-CFM Ventilation with Gesture Sensing Control Panel & Stainless Steel Design by Raymond Gray

We recently remodeled our kitchen and took the opportunity to replace our old range hood with one that better suits our cooking style (Chinese); this means a higher CFM rating. This is definitely an improvement over our previous range hood, both in terms of looks and performance. The build quality is pretty good and the device feels very solid. Noise levels are acceptable, and we generally like the "gestures" feature for changing fan speeds (although this means you can occasionally turn on the fan if it's too close to the device!). The touch panel with LED indicators also looks great and is very handy for keeping the hood clean as there are no switches or buttons to go around, just a smooth surface. The lighting is bright and can be dimmed via the touch panel. The installation was difficult for us for two main reasons: 1) The instructions covered almost exclusively the vertical vent (we have an existing horizontal duct), although the hood itself is designed to support both horizontal ducts. and vert. And 2) there's no built-in support for hardwiring the device to a power source (it's meant to be plugged into an outlet). Consequently, in our setup, we had to cut the power cord and connect the wiring. While I'm well versed in electrical work, I'd like a documented or "factory approved" option to make this change. In addition, the installation was very easy and simple. I would be remiss if I didn't emphasize that overall this hood is a great value in terms of features, build quality and looks. It really complements our kitchen and looks just as good or even better than its more expensive counterpart.
