Pros: Palette and sample cards are really good. The packaging was beautiful - all the pans were individually wrapped. Typical of metallic watercolors, I just added a few drops of water to each pan and waited a few minutes and they were ready to use and flowed nicely onto the brush. Cons: Some cuvettes seemed underfilled compared to others. When looking at color swatch cards, many colors look very similar, especially on black paper (the top 3 and bottom 3 on the left are very similar and appear mostly white - the bottom 3 on the right are all mostly white with a bluish tint). Tint). Iridescent pinks and iridescent greens barely show up on white paper, but look great on black. In general, I will use these colors, but they are not my favorites. Paul Reubens metallic inks offer much more color variety on both light and dark paper and I think they are much more economical. I would spend the extra $10 and get it if I was choosing between them.
