I took size comparison photos between S and M; there is a noticeable difference. In all the sets I tried, the shirts were too tight compared to the matching pants. Also, I don't know why the seller didn't put the actual size in the description, so I'll provide my knowledge to help parents (as stated on the inside label of each shirt). X-Small = 4Small = 5/6Medium = 7/8 Our son is six years old and we decided to keep the medium size (7/8) which is too big for him. But he has CP, so it's difficult for us to put our shirts on, so they have to be roomy enough to put them on over the elbows (since he doesn't like unfolding them). If he didn't have a CP, a small one would be better.
