I use this cable to send TRS stereo input from my computer directly to my mixer. The connectors appear to be coated in a corrosion-resistant material and have basic protection against damage from rough pulling. The wires are wrapped in thick, cut-resistant rubber, which thankfully isn't sticky and doesn't attract or hold dust. The sound quality is excellent and does not compromise the sound integrity in any way.
