Solid construction, GREAT sound. The acrylic panel makes it great! 1 star off for the cover. I compare it to my Uturn Orbit. This cover is very easy to remove and sits slightly backwards when in an upright position to prevent gravity from accidentally falling forward. Putting the lid on with this turntable takes longer and in the upright position you have to be able to rely on the hinges not letting the lid fall back. Over time, these loops loosen, and then it becomes a problem. You should have at least opened the lid at a 90 degree angle to the base. Now it's at an angle of about 75-80 degrees. But the view of the lid itself is better than my Uturn Orbit. All in all a very impressive player. Easy to set up. I had it from the box to playing the album in 30 minutes.
