Machining 2/4/21 The engine on this one died yesterday. A little disappointed with it. I expected it to last a few years but it didn't. This time I bought a different brand to see if it lasted longer. I've probably bought 20 humidifiers over the years. Each had advantages and disadvantages. Worst of all were filtered humidifiers because after a year or two the style changed and filters for older models became unavailable. Disappointing and a waste of money. In addition, all humidifiers had small filling openings and cleaning the tanks was difficult. But due to forced convection heating, the lack of a humidifier in the bedrooms means I wake up with a headache every morning, so I've been forced to find a humidifier again. I put it off 'cause I thought I'd find the same, the same I was skeptical when I saw this but hopeful when I added it to my cart. I figured the worst case scenario would be to return it if it doesn't work. Well, I'll start by not returning this one. It was very easy to set up and complete. The control button is located directly on the front panel and is easily accessible. There are multiple levels of moisture so you can adjust it to a little or more depending on how much moisture you need. Adding extra water right through the top is very easy, so it doesn't take long to refill. The best details? Deleting it is not difficult at all, since you simply delete the reserve. No more arm gymnastics trying to fit through a small hole in an uncomfortable tank. And there is no filter. Yes, no filters to keep changing until they stop making them. Household water is hard, so there will be white powder on the filing cabinet where the humidifier sits, but I can handle it. It's easier to wipe the surface than worry about filters. So if you're looking for an easy-to-use humidifier that actually works, stop looking and order this one. You will not be disappointed.
