This is great! good for me

I bought this for my seven-year-old son as a Christmas present. He’s been talking about grappling hooks ever since some Lego movie or what not. I thought it was so cheap it would be flimsy and not too tough. This thing is a beast. We used it to grapple up a very steep hill in the snow, and he use it as a type of ice ax to go up a small hill. This thing is really tough, and the rope is really great. Couldn’t be happier with the choice.

Pros

Used to remove a broke limb from a large tree. Worked great!

Cons

The claws may dig into surfaces, causing damage or leaving marks
