My cats love it! i love it too!
My cats of various sizes got stuck in our bedroom after we moved into a new house, it was their safe area. But when they wanted to leave in the middle of the night, that became a problem. So I bought this cat door and they loved it. I removed the brush until our shyest one got used to it and then put it back in. The door is big enough that they don't really rub the brush too much, but that's ok. Now our shy cat can sit in the bedroom and look outside until he feels safe enough to leave and come back to use the litter box or eat and I don't have to get up to let him back in and I do can hold the door open in the bedroom. close day and night.
