I don't use potty liners (usually they are not eco-friendly and expensive). If you're using this with a pine tree underneath, it's an absolute mess to try and clean up. The tray at the bottom is so thin that it holds about 1/3 inch of pine and litter together before overflowing. This is a large size for my Dutch dwarf but can be tricky for larger rabbits. The plastic edge and grid on the top layer will collect urine, so you will end up cleaning the grid layer and bottom layer. This is a very aesthetic tray with a slim profile and neutral color. But appearance does not save him from the lack of functionality.
