This product may be fantastic, but it has a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed. I've used it to clean about 80 plums and it's been great (as long as you keep your fingers off the bottom). But after a quick flush and my attempt to use it again, the cross blade came loose along with the hole. So the blade poked through the hole and followed into the trash can. If I hadn't seen it, I would have picked up the hole with the BLADE stuck in the pulp. I put it back in the slot but it kept falling out. There's no way to reattach it, so it costs about $35 for a one-time use. As I said, there is a serious security issue here.
