Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Dimensional Accuracy with Improved Filament Toughness by Robert Oner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Don't rely on 0.4mm pressure

I've used over 4kg so far and will personally buy more, but there's a catch: I only print with this filament with a large nozzle. Out of the 5 rollers I tested, 2 were regularly clogged at the 0.4mm nozzle and 1 of those 2 was flooded with water and the other was clogged at the 0.6mm nozzle. That doesn't mean it's a terrible thread. The material itself is beautiful. The color, luster and strength of the finished pieces are fantastic. Why are they stuck? I'm not entirely sure, but I've noticed black deposits on the inside of the injectors. My theory is that something in the pigment (for certain colors) is carbonizing at 200C and causing clogs, especially since I haven't had any issues with black thread. Printing at 0.8mm prevented this problem. If you want to try printing with a standard nozzle size I made 2 spools of black filament on 0.4mm nozzles with no clogging. If you're not afraid to give it a try and want to save a few bucks, you can get some awesome prints with this filament, but if you're new to 3D printing and don't feel comfortable switching nozzles, you can use it black PLA or look elsewhere.
