Belkin Lies: Surge Protection

Details matter. I carefully measured everything and then paid a little more for Belkin, thinking it was a well-known brand. No, it's not a 6ft chord, it's 5ft 5in, which is a lie. If I said my driver's license was 6 feet long when I was actually 5 feet 5 inches tall, that would be a crime. Belkin didn't care. In this case I not only lost the money for the accordion but also the disposable adhesive case. (Have to rip it off the floor and take it to a UPS store for a meager refund despite wasted hours during Covid-19.) One would think that in the ubiquitous world of power strips, Belkin would at least do as they said. I think they saved 2 cents on these 7 inches.

Pros
  • 720 watts of power provide maximum protection for all your sensitive electronic devices
Cons
  • No automatics
