Neither fireproof or waterproof
It's NOT fireproof. Worse than that you can easily set it on fire. After that I wasn't going to test it for waterproof but then decided to. Dunked it in the tub with 1-2 inches of water for 30 seconds, then carefully dried it including after undoing the velcro and then dried the zipper too. Then opened it. You can see the plain sheet of paper I put in there before hand got pretty wet.
