My first time trying these kind of socks, Performed well for shallow river crossings where the water stays below the end of the sock. But for those who spend a little more time in the water fishing or etc, you'll find that your feet still get wet at the end of the day, but "not as wet."There is no insulation on these socks, So I would recommend buying one size larger so that you can fit a insulating layer underneath. When you're drying these in the dryer, I noticed the inside layer stays wet and you have to turn them inside out and run them through the dryer again.Over all they're okay, and I will continue to use them until I'm ready to try a different brand.Additionally, you may want to prep these type of socks with a anti-fungal powder as they don't allow for much moisture to escape or wick away.
