My gray parrot is very picky and afraid of everything new. She did well with this bath next to her cage so I hung her in one of the openings of her feeder as she has a water bottle. The hole in the tub is slightly larger than the hole for the food bowl in a full size parrot cage so this is perfect. My gray one is small so the hole is a bit bigger than hers. Yesterday I watched her jump, fluff and throw water like a baby at a water park. She bathed for her pleasure without making a mess. It was great. I'm so glad I bought this for her so now she can bathe whenever she wants.
