Lamp randomly flickers when it lights up at all. That worked for a good 10 days. One day I thought I forgot to turn on the lamp, so I fumbled for the switch and it was on. However, the light was not on. I turned it off and on again. Nothing. I waited a few hours and tried again. This time it came on briefly, blinked for about an hour and then went off again. He has a mind of his own, which can't do my turtle any good. The constant heat and vitamins from UVA, UVB and heat lamps are vital to my pet's health. I didn't want to pay a higher price for a powerful solar light, but it has lasted over a year. So I think you get what you pay for. Or less in this case.
