The third time unfortunately is a charm for me. Despite what you read on the Crucial website, the Ballistix Sport LT 32GB (16GB x 2) DDR4 2400MT/s (PC4-19200) DR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin - BLS2K16G4S240FSD kit will not work in your Dell XPS . I also tried the Patriot Memory Viper 4 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 2400MHz SODIMM DDR4 Kit (PV432G240C5SK) and either I had a bad drive or it didn't work either (although Revain had tested it for fit). Yes it fits, but it might not work. To be honest I don't know much about memory and what's going on with the BIOS, but it looks like Dell has locked them out so you can't tweak things related to memory Only some third-party memory will work, despite the correct size and specifications. Again, unless you're doing tasks that require it, you might not need more memory. In my case, multiple virtual machines and memory-intensive applications are running. If you're looking for an easy way to upgrade your Dell XPS 95**, this memory from Corsair should fit the bill.
