I have chronic plantar fasciitis in my right foot. In order not to be disappointed, I did a lot of research here looking for various objects and found that many of them had the bulges ripped off or torn hollow spheres. This one looked promising; durable so it won't tear, the cleats are close enough to the ball that they don't irritate the foot and don't feel like they can easily come off. I JUST got home and used it for 10 minutes before writing this and let me just say my plantar fasciitis actually feels BIG! I dug it up on my right foot all over the sole and heel and for the first time in a month I don't feel any inflammation! I'm sorry that others see this and it doesn't work for them, but my foot is 10 1/4 inches, so about $8.5-9 and this item is just the right size . Not too small, and the bumps don't hurt, just help alleviate them. It's made of durable and tough rubber with some give so you can really put your foot on it. It also doesn't slide very badly, making it relatively easy for me to tuck it into my feet by the sides without using my hands. Overall, I like this little massager a few minutes after opening it.
