I have not tested the microphone as I have just received it. The only thing that bothers me so far is that there is no power cord in the kit. Therefore, you must purchase it separately. Actually not the worst. It just had to be pointed out. I personally don't understand why an electrical product doesn't come with a power cord. Batteries are different. Although personally I think they should too.
