It's SAFE. The belt clip on the back has a hook at the bottom that slips over whatever you first attach it to. When you try to remove it, it grabs everything between itself and the ground. I've used it with a belt and it catches on the bottom of the belt and won't let go. I put my SG2 with the extended 4100mAh QCell battery in this holster and rode the Hulk and Dragon Summon at Universal Studios Florida and the case held the phone tight as I gripped the seat handles. In fact, I'm pretty sure my phone had a heart attack after the second coaster because it was off when I pulled it out of its case. I could probably lean on the power button, but I mean the case is safe. It even has a tight, stretchy inner pocket that you can fit something thin like an ID card or credit card (or an extra battery if you need it) along with your phone. The velcro is stiff and opens very noisily, so do it quickly and purposefully when you're in a quiet place. It's also quite large and not that difficult to hide, so be prepared to wear clothing that tucks behind it rather than necessarily over it. Overall this is a well designed case that fits my phone like a glove. I would recommend this if you have a large smartphone with or without a larger battery.
