It's AWESOME! Always a perfect fit and made of good, thick cardboard. I've bought many sets and each one has been great! I had a problem and they went out of their way to fix it! I LOVE this seller! The 200gsm material used for them (similar to the 70lb Astrobrite) is NOT the kind you would flash and then rip out. I use a hole punch to punch a hole in the center of the hexagons so they can be removed later. This is the kind that you sew together and then remove when all the pieces are sewn together around them (all sides of the piece to be removed are sewn onto the other piece - see photo). I buy gummies that I like (I'm amazed when I try to find matching items). DO NOT machine wash (fall apart - not enough). Trim the hem (it will shrink at different rates with washing and will ruin the finished product) and cut the strips into 2-inch and 1/2-inch squares. I glue ONE side of the fabric to the hex template, pin the fabric (no, I don't cut the sides - I just fold to make sharp corners and add a few extra stitches if it looks too close to the edge). When I have a bunch of them, I sort them into groups for my "colors" or "diamonds" and put each set in a little zip lock so I don't forget the location. I then sew (tiny stitches around the edges NOT through the template) the "petals" around the center piece and crochet the center piece through the punched hole. THEN I sew the sides of the flower together WITHOUT the center piece. I can fold the sides together without bending the hex pattern. I can use them many times. I also ironed them with a dry iron to straighten them out after heavy use. I put a kitchen towel under and over it to keep the glue residue from sticking to my iron or board. BUT, if you're not picky like me, it's not that bad. I've bought about 2000 of these to make a queen quilt so far, but you can probably get away with less if you don't want to baste everything early. You start sewing them together. I use 100% cotton single skein Gutermann yarn and the equivalent of 2 rolls of jelly and 4 yards of white fabric to surround my flowers. But that's just me...
