I have a Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum and a Dyson DC39 Ball vacuum. This 2 piece adapter allows me to use all of my DC39 non-motorized attachments on my V8. game changer. One adapter allows me to use tools like the Dyson joint wood floor tool (great mount) and the other allows me to connect tools from my shop vacuum to my V8. I bought this primarily for a hardwood floor joint tool, but I now have a variety of attachments at my disposal. Both ends snap into place like original parts and do not interfere with the operation of the vacuum cleaner. For less than $10, how can you go wrong. I know I only gave 4 starts but that's because I just got it.
