Review on Lion Brand Yarn 601 640 Bonbons by Rachel Smith

Charming and tiny. Tiny!

They are adorable! They called them "Candies" for a reason - just like bite-sized ice cream, these tiny mini packets of yarn are just as cute. Just understand that it's not possible to bind an entire normal-sized project out of them. I see this collection as yarn for accent pieces like doll hair, knitted flowers or pom poms. If you notice that the project patterns shown on the packaging itself are just pom poms with eyes! I agree that the packaging size given in the photos in the product description is a bit misleading. So I've attached some photos of the yarn with my hands as a visual sizing guide. Other reviewers on this site have posted photos showing individual balls of these candies next to the egg for sizing (in case you need another visual sizing reference!) One more note: different packages may contain different YARN! The choice of fibers varies from pack to pack, as do the colors. There's nothing wrong with that, but it can still make a difference to your finished project, so be aware of that.
