I've always had good luck with Wix filters and expected the same from them, NO. The primary filter is half plastic and weighs about 1/3 of the factory filter, the radiator secondary return filter is smaller than the factory filter, it's shorter, and the factory filter wrench is dangling from it and I really hope I don't have one. the problem of deleting it later. The new pre-filter gasket is a very thin copy of the factory gasket, and it's almost impossible to sit down without damaging it. Mine leaned forward and refused to sit down. By removing it and using the correct size pipe I was able to straighten it out without damaging the rubber seal (hopefully). Everything has come and gone, but it's not the kind of thing that will drag you 3,000 miles. I hope they last 30-40k until the next change, but I could get the factory filters sooner and just get the job done for peace of mind. I wouldn't install them if I hadn't already drained the transmission and dropped the oil pan.
