Ideal seals best in fasteners

Bought 200pcs 1/4" and 200pcs 1/2" They are perfect. The length is exact i.e. 2 x 1/4" shim is exactly equal to 1/2" = 1/2" spacer what I needed." The screws I use. 0.5" OD is also accurate for both types (I'm guessing they are cut from the same 0.5" diameter rod).
