The corners can be rounded off by scraping with a razor knife and then smoothed into a smooth shape by heating. You can also sand with a spongy sanding block. I used a pencil line to draw on the plastic and SLOWLY and carefully worked across these lines with a razor knife. Sharp blades also help prevent accidents. Just work slowly and wear gloves if you're uncomfortable. I see many other uses for this type of product. The item arrived quickly and was damaged.
