We downsized our generator to get more run hours with less fuel. When I did this I had to convert back from 220v to 110v (both 30 amps). I was happy to find this cable. After our electrician replaces the end of the house with a suitable plug, the female end of this cord is twisted and securely fastened, and the end that connects to the generator has a finger loop to make it easy to unplug. Lighting is an added safety factor, although it's easy to see when a generator is running. I am very happy with this cable and would recommend it to anyone who has the appropriate needs.
