Very good quality tool. It will last a long time if you take care of it. If you are into woodworking then this clamp is a must have as it will come in handy in many different situations. The 6-inch range is especially handy when you need to dissolve footage that isn't at the end of your projects. I've tried both automaxx and non-automaxx and while it's a bit more convenient I gave it 4 stars because the automaxx feature doesn't always work as intended. The adjustable thumbscrew is meant to control the clamping force, but in my experience when clamping from a very thick piece of wood to a thinner piece of wood, you sometimes need to adjust the clamp with the adjustment screw located on the handle. This defeats the purpose of using the Automaxx Kreg clamp. Other than that, it's a great tool. One of the downsides of this product is that it is quite expensive. Just two of these clips cost around $70.
