First of all I have been in IT for several years so this is not my first rodeo. This printer might be great, but it's missing a few elements in its setup that you should be aware of. I sent one of these printers back because after the initial setup it kept giving me a paper jam warning when printing the start page. It then just gets stuck in that cycle, wasting paper and just typing Jam again. I didn't have time to play around with it so I asked my wife to send it back only to get a replacement who did the same. Customer service was non-existent, the internet was a dead end, the Xerox support site was a total disaster. Your support call suggested that I send the printer back for a third time for replacement and there is no valuable information on this error in any of the settings. Documentation. I just had to roll up my sleeves and suffer to find out so no one else had to. If you are experiencing this error on your Xerox 6510 you will be happy to know that the end of your misery is probably below: I have attached four images to this post for my printer of what my two output clips looked like, the clip on the left in the first image. It looks like this was done on purpose at the factory to prevent them from falling out of the car during transit. All you have to do is apply some pressure to the eject roller brackets and move them slightly to the right, being careful not to let the eject roller loosen from the bracket. Then release the eject roller bracket, it should rise and close the gap between the eject rollers and the top feed rollers. See image number one where the right reel gives an idea of how it should look. Your final rolls should look like picture number four, with very little space between the exit rolls and the top take-up rolls. (Again, this is NOT technical or supporting documentation). After that there was no more paper jam, the paper comes out of the printer correctly and without problems. it is excellent. This can be a deal killing disappointment and I hope it helps another poor suffering soul.
