I was concerned if it would be bright enough to shine under a kitchen cabinet. It's definitely bright enough. The motion sensor works, but the light doesn't stay on long enough (for my particular use). It only stays on for about 15-20 seconds and then turns off until it detects motion again. This isn't really a problem as I can use the 'Enable' feature and just disable it when I'm done. I used 3M tape to stick the light to the bottom of the closet and it holds the light perfectly (has been installed for over a week). A magnetic holder is very handy, it allows me to grab a light, turn it on and use it to illuminate the inside of my base cabinets when I need something from one of those dark back corners! Then just put it back on the magnet. Only charged once so very happy with the amount of time between charges.
