I received the dark blue in the little one. I wanted an ankle length or almost floor length winter coat but this one only goes all the way up to my ankles and sticks out a few inches at the back unless I tug at it a lot to keep it down. That slanted hemline looks ridiculous, and if you have a big butt I'm sure this effect is much more pronounced. Last winter I had to patch a 3 or 4 inch gap at the intersection of my left armpit and there is a gap in the collar area which I will also patch but it's not noticeable unless I put it on or hang it up. That being said, I like to complain about this robe, but I'm posting this for anyone looking at this Michael Ross robe. I've only washed it twice. Once when he came and when the spring cold ended. The medium and large sizes add an inch more length, but I went with the small because I (and almost everyone) will look like they have a big belly despite wearing thin, heavy clothing when they don't have anything. In hindsight I wish I had ordered a medium size but the hem needs to be a few inches longer and I'm short at just 5ft 9in. In conclusion, I agree that this robe is very comfortable and keeps me warm. . Acrylic fleece contains several long strands that are easy to cut. I think this robe will last a long time with proper care. I hope my review has helped. I recommend this robe if you like it, but it's too short if you're tall and the hemline tends to sit at an undesirable angle even if you have a small butt.
