My car's windshield (here a 2011 Mazda3) has a deceptively long and deep slope that makes it very difficult to clean the inside of it. A few years ago my dad bought me a window cleaner but even with this I still have trouble cleaning the corners of the windshield and its base is inside. I can clean every square inch of my windshield with this tool! I can shorten the handle to clean the top half of the windshield and then lengthen the handle to clean the bottom half of the windshield. While I'm pretty sure these two pads are for personal use, I use both and I'm glad they come with both! rectangular pad for polishing glass dry. It works fantastic and makes a terribly difficult task so much easier! While it can of course be used on any vehicle and glass, I would particularly recommend this cleaner to people who have modern cars with tilted and curved windows. This cleaner makes cleaning such glass MUCH easier!
