I'm new to knitting (I've been doing it in quarantine for the past two months) and I think this kit is pretty good for beginners experimenting with different yarn counts and techniques. I haven't tried every set in the set but I found the large needles to be quite strong and smooth. Last week I tried 4mm circular needles and found that they are not as smooth as the larger needles. The thread caught several times, and the knitting needles split in half. I've already switched to metal needles for projects that require smaller needles, so it doesn't bother me too much. I guess, that all needle sets are clearly marked with the size (my metal set isn't and it's quite annoying). Ironically, the part of the kit that I use the most is the - This is a small set of tools that comes with the kit. It has almost everything you need in a small, compact box.
