I love this slicer. It has replaced my mandolin because it is so easy to use and easy to clean. Also, it takes up very little space when not in use. Instead of switching blades like you would on a mandolin, you just adjust the thickness of the slice on a bar on the side, and on the other side there's another button that's easy to press to switch to the grate. The included handguard/pusher will be uncomfortable so be sure to buy a Kevlar glove to slip on so you don't accidentally put meat in the dish. So easy to clean - just put everything on lockdown mode and wash with soapy water. I've been using it for less than a year and everything works like new. Not sure how long it stays sharp? There are no problems with that yet.
