My boyfriend wore this on our trip to Zion national park and it was an absolute life saver. The weather was 105 degrees through our weeklong trip, so this hat definitely got used a ton. The great thing about it is that it's completely modular, so you can wear it as a regular hat, or install the rear flap and mask for further protection. The hat has perforations on the top to allow for ventilation and the modular pieces snap on and off very easily using snap style buttons. The hat is just the right thickness, thick enough to withstand some wind and still retain its shape, but then enough to be breathable and cooling. I definitely recommend this product, especially if you live in the desert or like to do outdoor activities frequently.
