I bought this as a 'cat robe' when visiting relatives (I'm very allergic). I live in the south and wear this over my clothes so it should be big and light. It meets all the requirements, is quite long and actually very beautiful. Think of a beautifully patterned old-fashioned smoking coat - I just miss the carafe in my hand. Love it!
