Review on 🔒 Apexstone Soft Close Lid Support: Ensuring Safety and Convenience with Soft Down Lid Hinge (Set of 2) by George Halbohm

These soft close hinges are great value. Once installed they are not the most durable in the world. Not sure if this is partly because I received an obviously used pair (although I ordered and paid for a new pair). The installation instructions were not entirely correct. It's not that they were difficult to understand/fix, but I was a bit paranoid about following them EXACTLY (judging from what other users have mentioned) and ended up with 2 extra holes in the storage bench lid, which I have several days spent. and do days for my son. Not the end of the world, but annoying. I am attaching a photo of the corrected instruction drawings I used to properly assemble this hinge. Remember that destinations can of course vary from delivery to delivery, so check yours first. The difference is in the bracket that attaches to the lid - the "X" spacing in my directions. With correct recommendation and new delivery (instead of a used pair) it would definitely be 4 stars. If you're willing to tinker with them and understand the setup, they're good value for money.
