I run cables through vehicles and trailers every day and sometimes I need something a little stiff but flexible to pull cables through tight spaces. I used a speedometer cable many years ago when I was much younger, but as I got older I gave it up to downsize my tool kit. It's been 20 years and I will use it again. This makes life a lot easier when you need to run cable through pipes on a trailer as it's stiff enough to push it to the bottom of most pipe sections and holds the cable very well when taped with good quality tape like Scotch 33 is wrapped +. Sometimes I have to run wires through rubber hoses in car doors and tailgates. I used a flexible antenna rod, but I know this cable will work much better than it did in the good old days. Keep in mind that this cord is only about 6 feet long if you need to pull long distances.
