I needed a freezer, not a fridge, to haul frozen food 200 miles and this Iceco 42 is widely considered the 'best' portable freezer viewed. I researched portable "coolers" and found this Iceco to come with an excellent "pump" and components that have user reviews for quality and durability. If you have the budget buy an ARB otherwise this Iceco 42 is comparable if not equal to freezing temperatures, runs silently and has insulation to keep the power cold in a vehicle for long hours. It is about the size of a person when filled with food. My first "test" was to pour water into an ice cube. Peel and freeze into ice, unplug Iceco and leave for two days and you'll have ice cubes even in mild or warm fall/fall weather. I don't think I can expect more. It is a great luxury to be able to "store" frozen food and chill food in the fridge every day without having to deal with a cooler full of water, melting ice and plastic bags.
