This straightener has many advantages. It has a semi-grip feel and the overall look and feel in the hand is premium. There are knobs on the inside of the straightener clasp to control the temperature, which is a plus and a minus. The placement prevents accidental triggering of a temperature change or even shutdown of the rectifier; However, it makes me a little nervous every time I have to interact with the button. It doesn't matter as their placement can't be pinpointed in my opinion, but that's just my observation. I've never had a hair straightener that shows the temperature so I think it's a nice touch. On the same note, I wasn't sure what temperature I usually use to straighten my wavy/curly hair, so it was trial and error. I started the automatic setup and it didn't work. I played around and adjusted the temp until I was at 430 and that temp seemed perfect and I was able to quickly straighten my hair like I used to. Perhaps one of my favorite things about this iron is that it heats up so quickly. When I adjusted the temperature of the iron, the adjustment was almost instantaneous. After I finished straightening my hair I hardly noticed any frizz (which I also have after straightening my hair) and my hair was soft and straight. The flat iron runs very smoothly through my hair without snagging or snagging. So far I really like this iron as it meets all the necessary requirements. Let's hope it holds up well in the long run.
